Elon Musk’s medical start-up Neuralink wants to use a brain implant to create a previously unattainable connection between humans and machines. The aim is not only to effectively treat neurodegenerative diseases and make it easier for people with restricted mobility to control computers, but also to increase the cognitive capacities of healthy people in the long term.
