Coronavirus barometer in Ile-de-France: update as of December 21
The number of new positive cases increases from one week to the next, particularly in the dense area (+ 23% in Paris, + 20% in Val-de-Marne). On the other hand, the number of hospitalizations and entries into intensive care units shows a slight decrease compared to last week.

The number of new positive cases continues to increase from one week to the next, up to nearly 40% in Paris, due in particular to a very strong increase in the number of tests. However, the number of people newly hospitalized or in intensive care continues to decrease.

For the first time since the start of the second wave of coronavirus, the number of hospital discharges exceeds the number of hospitalizations in Ile-de-France. All the indicators are encouraging, from the decrease in new cases to the decline in people hospitalized or in intensive care.
