However, explained treasurer Johann Halbinger at the latest meeting of the municipal council, a lot has happened anyway, including some positive things. The income from trade tax this year is expected to be 8.2 million euros instead of the planned 5.7 million. The administrative budget also rises, from 38.8 to 41 million, as does the asset budget from 17.8 to 18.7 million. At the same time, the amount that is to be taken out as a loan is also reduced, from 8.3 million to now only 6.7 million.
On this occasion, the 1.15 million euros for the renovation of the railway bridge on Kurt-Kittel-Ring are also included in the budget. The municipal council approved the first supplementary budget unanimously. According to Kämmerer Halbinger, nothing should stand in the way of approval by the legal supervisory authority, because additional income is generated.
