A 34-year-old driver lost his driver’s license because of his driving style yesterday, June 12, 2022, on Autobahn 7.
Because he drove his car on the A7 on Sunday evening in a traffic-threatening manner, overtook several times on the right, forced other drivers and braked, the man will have to face criminal proceedings.
At around 9:10 p.m., the Günzburg motorway police were informed that a black Opel with Hamburg license plates was driving recklessly and dangerously on the A7 between the Hittistetter Dreieck and the Nersingen junction. The 34-year-old approached a civilian patrol by the Neu-Ulm police’s central emergency services, which was also traveling in the direction of Würzburg at the time, at high speed and drove into the police vehicle a few meters behind and finally overtook illegally on the right.
The officers stopped the vehicle and the man for inspection. The officials of the Günzburg motorway police then informed the public prosecutor’s office and secured the man’s driver’s license on the spot. There were no indications of the influence of alcohol or drugs during the inspection.
