Network Office Education Rheinisches Revier

In order to secure the future of the Rheinische Revier, strategies have to be developed, new jobs created and innovative ideas promoted. Education is an important starting point for the success of structural change. Building on the experience of the transfer initiative, a regional education management system is therefore anchored together with the municipalities in the Rhenish Revier. The network office Education Rheinisches Revier (NBR) takes part in the BMBF-funded project “Competence Center Education in Structural Change”, focused on the design of educational landscapes and developed visions for a sustainable educational strategy in the region with municipalities and network partners. In order to provide the data basis, a regional educational monitoring system with key topics is to be established, which focuses on the continuous data-supported observation and analysis of the educational system. In addition, various thematic reports are published, specialist conferences are held, and regional educational conferences with various educational actors are planned. With regional educational monitoring and the involvement of relevant network partners, developments and results can be collected, analyzed and made visible so that valid information is available for politics, administration and the public.

In addition to Münster and Düsseldorf, the ISA is active for the BMBF-funded project at a third location in the Rheinische Revier. The team is therefore divided between the offices in Münster and Neuss.

The education network office Rheinisches Revier works with the network offices of the competence center in Lusatia and Central Germany. There is a close exchange between the network offices in order to jointly design and guarantee the transfer of knowledge and communication with the public on structural change.
