“Social Media for Introverts” – this is the title under which the next network meeting for trade, gastronomy and tourism of the Middle Lower Rhine Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) will take place. The IHK invites you to do so on November 14th, 8 a.m. The event takes place at Fritz Schmitz Damenmoden, Remigiusplatz 19, in Viersen.
Viersen – Social media has now become an indispensable tool for companies to reach target groups directly and increase brand awareness. “Social networks not only enable companies to present their products and services, but also to build authentic customer relationships and gain valuable insights into trends and customer needs,” says Valerie de Groot, consultant for trade, gastronomy and tourism at the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein.
Communications consultant Ute Schmeiser will introduce the topic and explain how companies can use the potential of social media. Miriam Schmitt will then present her Viersen fashion store and report on her social media experiences. With a successful recruiting campaign, she has proven that Instagram & Co. can be a valuable platform for addressing new employees. Finally, Matthias Ebbinghaus, restaurateur from Kempen, shows how restaurants can successfully attract guests via social media and how visual storytelling and authentic insights into gastronomy can have a big impact.
The complete program and a registration option are available on the IHK website: www.mittlerer-niederrhein.ihk.de/32286. The IHK contact person is Valerie de Groot (Tel. 02151 635-313, Email: valerie.degroot@mnr.ihk.de). (opm)
