Oksana Marchenko, the wife of Viktor Medvedchuk, a people’s deputy suspected of treason from the Opposition Platform for Life and Putin’s godfather, continues a marathon of video messages to world leaders asking them to help release her husband.
Marchenko addressed the next appeal to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
In a covered-headed address, Marchenko pleads with the prince to facilitate the exchange of her husband, whom she calls “the leader of the Ukrainian opposition,” for two British Marines who were captured by Russians in Mariupol.
Prior to this, Marchenko recorded a series of video messages. At first, she asked to “rescue” Medvedchuk from the “captivity of the SBU” of President Vladimir Zelensky. Then she turned to Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Then Marchenko asked to facilitate the exchange of relatives two captured British Marines.
The wife of the disgraced people’s deputy did not stop there and “got” to the Saudi prince. The network reacts to Marchenko’s videos with humor, fantasizing who will be her “next victim”. UNIAN collected the most interesting reactions.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Medvedchuk is suspected of treason in two criminal proceedings.
On May 12, 2021, the deputy was handed a suspicion of treason and violation of the laws and customs of war (Art. 111 and Art. 438 of the Criminal Code) in the case of plundering national resources in the occupied Crimea, divulging state secrets and carrying out subversive activities against Ukraine.
In October of the same year, Medvedchuk was declared a new suspicion of treason and complicity in terrorism in the so-called “coal case” (Article 111 and Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code). The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a criminal scheme for the supply of coal from the temporarily occupied territories and assistance to the terrorist organizations “LPR” and “DPR” by a group of Ukrainian citizens.
On February 27, 2022, it became known that Medvedchuk had escaped from house arrest.
12th of April Medvedchuk was detained. The head of the SBU, Ivan Bakanov, said that the FSB of the Russian Federation tried to take Medvedchuk out, first to Transnistria, and then to Moscow.
