Netizens Shouted by Indihome Internet Dead, Telkom Apologies

Customer Indihome today (7/17) complained a lot Internet Network problematic and vent their frustration on Twitter social media. Indihome then became the most popular topic on Twitter.

Some of them complained about the internet network from the state-owned company was often problematic and returned to natural ‘down’. Some customers also complained that online learning activities from the corona virus pandemic-affected home were disrupted because of the slow Indihome network.


Responding to the complaints of its customers, Vice President of Corporate Communication Arif Prabowo conveyed an apology.

He admitted that there had been a disturbance in the transmission of Indihome at 08:55 WIB. Therefore, service quality has declined and is felt by some customers in some areas.

The disturbance said Arif only lasted for five minutes and now it has returned to normal.

“We will continue to monitor the impact and process of overall Indihome service recovery,” Arif was quoted as saying from a release received by CNNIndonesia.com, Friday (7/17).

“Telkom expressed its apologies to the affected customers and felt the inconvenience towards Indihome services,” he continued.

Arif further said that the company will continue to improve the quality of service to improve the experience of their customers.
