Being able to chat with your idol is every fan’s dream, and kpop idols have made it possible through different celebrity and fan sharing apps.
Bubble is definitely the most popular app where many celebrities and fans have more freedom and can chat directly.
But being able to chat with a celebrity comes at a price. This is because fans have to pay a fee for idols to send them messages. Although many are willing to do so, a discussion opened up on the subject recently on a popular online community. There, several fans explain that they consider these fees to be exaggerated.
The user who started the post wrote: “I saw this post that a fan couldn’t subscribe to because of money issues, so they felt left out. I feel like this subscription message app splits the level of fans so I don’t like it. »
Internet users responded and commented:
- “If you have a lot, you can… since you have to pay every month”
- “I feel overwhelmed by this, but you just don’t need to do this if you don’t have the money”
- “It can feel like that… I don’t like subscription messaging either”
- “For non-adult students, it can feel overwhelming. »
- “I also used to do subscription messaging, but I don’t like it. I feel like they are selling the messages to the fans”
- “These messages are leaked on Twitter anyway”
- “I think Bubble has its pros and cons, but I think you can subscribe and not spend on anything else. Bubble gives you an experience that you can’t feel with other apps, in my opinion”
- “You can subscribe after becoming an adult, like other subscriptions”
- “I think it’s weird that you have to subscribe to see idol posts. »
