Strengthening cooperation between Cameroon and the NAFTC-Africa Consortium for Agricultural Development

Cameroon, a country rich in natural resources, has immense agricultural potential. However, the Cameroonian agricultural sector faces many challenges, such as lack of financing, limited transport infrastructure and limited access to modern agricultural technologies.
To face these challenges, the President of the Chamber of Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Forests of Cameroon, Mindjos Momeny Martin Paul, on the very high instructions of the Head of State, signed a memorandum of agreement with the Dutch Food and Technology Center Consortium.
This memorandum of understanding signed between Cameroon and this agro-food Consortium of the Netherlands establishes a framework of cooperation and collaboration for agricultural development in Cameroon through the transfer of knowledge, access to financing, Strengthening of the supply chain agricultural value.
The impact of this cooperation agreement between Cameroon and the NAFTC-Africa Consortium should be significant for the Cameroonian agricultural sector. It will increase agricultural productivity, create jobs and improve food security.
