National team road Netherlands can be relatively light from Euro 2020 last 16 (Euro 2021) to the final round. Maybe they won’t even meet a commensurate opponent until the quarter-finals.
In the round of 16 the Netherlands will face the Czech Republic. Der Oranje, the nickname of the Dutch national team, has a smooth record in the group stage.
Frank de Boer’s team has always won in three Group C matches. Most likely the Netherlands will have no trouble facing the Czechs in the last 16.
The closest match besides the Netherlands after the round of 16 is against the winner of Wales vs Denmark. Whoever wins the match will be against the Netherlands if they qualify for the quarter-finals.
The Netherlands also on paper will not be too troubled when facing Wales or Denmark.
In the Euro 2020 knockout stages, the Netherlands are in the same chart with Sweden vs Ukraine and England vs Germany.

If England want to qualify for the quarter-finals they have to beat Germany. Vice versa.
Same with Sweden. If they want to qualify for the quarter-finals then they have to beat Ukraine and vice versa.
Later the winner of the match between Sweden vs Ukraine and England vs Germany will meet in the quarter-finals.
England can advance to the semifinals if they win from Sweden or Ukraine, who advance to the quarter-finals. So is Germany.
The Dutch step will only feel heavy if those who qualify for the semifinals are between England or Germany. Because, the quality of the game both teams are also superior.

However, it is not impossible for Germany or England to meet the Netherlands in the semifinals, tripping Sweden in the quarter-finals. Moreover, Sweden performed well in the group phase and won Group E.
If the Netherlands meets Sweden in the semifinals, then the steps for Memphis Depay and his friends to the Euro 2020 final will be easier.
