The largest Dutch supply chain “New York Pizza” is massively expanding its presence in Germany. A total of 32 companies will in future not only bring the pizzas but also the “particularly user-friendly ordering system to all pizza lovers”, say the actors. Philippe Vorst (right in the picture), founder and CEO of “New York Pizza” on the future cooperation and the plans in Germany: “The cooperation with Stückwerk is our first big step on the German market: Our goal is to expand our activities both to expand organically as well as structurally if we see attractive opportunities. We want to grow into one of the most important players in this country. ”
In order to underline the importance of the German market, Karsten Freilang (on the left, former CEO and Managing Director of Domino’s Pizza Germany and previously Joey’s Pizza Service Germany) takes over the business in Germany as Managing Director New York Pizza Germany: “We want a lot in Germany reach. The first branch of “New York Pizza” has been supplying since 2014 in Cologne. The second restaurant opened there in December 2020. The new locations will be ready for the first orders at the end of November.
