Netflix’s New Original Series “In Full Flight” Set to Release Soon: Final Trailer Revealed!

Netflix original series, In Full Flight will be released in a few days, the opportunity for the streaming giant to unveil its final trailer. The heist comedy comes two years after Kevin Hart signed a deal with Netflix to produce and star in four feature films, and also secured a first-look deal for his studio, HartBeat Productions. Since then, he has starred in and produced A Papa Out of Peers and Me Time: Finally Alone?, but his latest project seems very different from the previous ones.

Netflix has released the final trailer for In Flight, in which Hart plays a master thief who hatches a plan to steal a plane in mid-flight.

While Hart’s last two Netflix films saw him playing the role of a family man, this film places him in a less benevolent role. In Flight, he and his team face prison time for several crimes, including identity theft, money laundering and transporting stolen goods. However, he is so confident in his abilities as a thief that he firmly believes that it is possible to steal a plane in flight, which portends a wild heist.

Everything we know about In Flight

In Flight will premiere exclusively on Netflix starting January 12, 2024. As we mentioned above, the series will follow Hart as master thief Cyrus Whitaker. While Whitaker has built a dedicated team and enormous wealth through his criminal activities, his ex-girlfriend Gabby (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) has joined the FBI and is now threatening him with prison time if he doesn’t succeed to steal $500 million in gold from a plane. It doesn’t take long for him to decide, instead of grabbing the gold, to steal the entire plane.

Meanwhile, In Flight boasts an impressive cast. In addition to Hart and Mbatha-Raw (Loki), Vincent D’Onofrio (Jurassic World), Úrsula Corberó (La Casa de Papel), Billy Magnussen (Spy Kids: Armageddon) and Kim Yoon-ji have all signed on to play the crew of Hart. Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno, Sam Worthington, Burn Gorman and Viveik Kalra also star in the film. The director is F. Gary Gray, known for directing The Italian Heist, Fast and Furious 8 and Men in Black: International.

Mid Flight was originally scheduled for release in August, but was apparently delayed due to the Hollywood strike. It’s now official, In Flight will be ready to land on Netflix from Friday January 12, 2024 at exactly 9:01 a.m.
