Netflix’s Live-Action Adaptation of ‘One Piece’ to Launch Worldwide on August 31

Netflix’s live-action adaptation of “One Piece” will be exclusively launched worldwide on August 31. Recently, the latest sideshow video has been officially released. Luffy’s actor Iñaki Godoy, on behalf of the production team, gave the phone bug props in the album to “One Piece” Author Eiichiro Oda.

The phone bug is a communication tool in “One Piece”. When used, it will subtly imitate the appearance and voice of the caller, and the live-action version also restores this. The live-action version of the phone bug made its debut in the official stills released a few days ago, which caused a lot of discussion.

Oda said in the sideshow video that the live-action version of “One Piece” produced by Hollywood focuses not only on action and special effects (VFX), but also on the acting skills of the actors. I hope that the audience can pay more attention to the performance of the actors in the play. Just speaking the lines, it feels like the real Straw Hat Boys are speaking.

The live-action series “One Piece” is executive produced by Eiichiro Oda, produced by Marty Adelstein of Tomorrow Studios, and written by Matt Owens, a total of 8 episodes.
