After having gain 36.5 million subscribers from the pandemic in 2020, Netflix complains of “lumps” and “agitation” in its growth at the end of the first half of this year. But it added another 1.5 million subscriptions and announced that it will include video games in subscriptions for free, as well as the return of several popular series this quarter. On Tuesday night’s results presentation, the largest platform for streaming from the world revealed that it now has 209 million subscribers and that it will develop its own games, related to its series as it has already done with Stranger Things or creating original videogames that later unfold into series or movies.
