Netflix is also planning the live action series Resident Evil
It is appropriate to recall information from a few weeks ago. It was then confirmed that Netflix is preparing an acting series, and Andrew Dabb (as showrunner) and Bronwen Hughes (as director) are involved in the work.
This project is less mysterious as it has also revealed that you can expect 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. The plot is supposed to be new, i.e. not to refer directly to the events that could be seen in Resident Evil games and movies. It will focus on the fate of the Jade and Billie Wesker sisters. Additionally, it was stated that viewers can expect two timelines.
The 8 x 1 hour episode season will be helmed by Andrew Dabb (Supernatural), Bronwen Hughes (The Walking Dead, The Journey Is the Destination) will direct the first two episodes.
