The Bridgerton television series was a huge hit on streaming giant Netflix. Soon into its third season, Netflix recently sued the maker of the musical Bridgerton which it deemed illegal.
Netflix accused the company of misconduct. It was Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear who helped create the project.
They have created a musical project to upload it to iTunes to get the title of Best Musical Theater Album.

Netflix has objected to the unofficial Bridgerton musical project. They also soon aired The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album Live in Concert which took place at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, USA. Tickets sold for almost $150.
In an open statement, Netflix expressed its complaint to the project team.
“Netflix supports fan-generated content but Barlow & Bear has taken too many steps and profits. They are trying to get a flow of funds without official permission for Bridgerton IP,” wrote Netflix’s statement.
According to Netflix, they have contacted Barlow & Bear, and want to negotiate.
“But they refused to cooperate. The creators, cast, writers, and crew have poured their hearts and souls into Bridgerton and we are taking action to protect their rights,” Netflix wrote.
The creator of the Bridgerton series on Netflix, Shonda Rhimes, also does not like the forcible taking of the copyright of her characters and novels from illegal parties.
“What started as excitement and celebration has changed when Barlow & Bear on social media has taken intellectual property blatantly for their financial gain. This property was created by Julia Quinn and brought to life on screen by many. We will not allow anyone to take over IP Bridgerton,” he concluded.
