Netflix Shows SpaceX Civilian Documentary Series Flying Into Space

JAKARTA – Space missions with civilian crews using rockets SpaceX will air in a Netflix documentary.

The series will contain the preparation process for the civil crew. In this preparation, the astronaut crew, who are all civilians, will be trained to be ready to fly into space.

Quoting The Verge page, Friday (6/8/2021). Netflix says the first two episodes will air on September 6. It was only then two more episodes on September 13th.

SpaceX itself is targeting September 15 for the launch of this space mission. If the schedule fits, the fifth episode will premiere in late September.

The documentary is co-produced by Time Studios and will be directed by Jason Hehir, who also produced the Michael Jordan series The Last Dance.

Space company owned Elon Musk it had previously disclosed the civilian mission in February.

Those civilians will see the crew stay on the Dragon spacecraft for up to five days in orbit around Earth.

Musk said at the time that he considered it an important milestone towards access to space for everyone.
