In the Netherlands you pay about 8 to 16 euros for your subscription for Netflix. The prices are certainly not fixed for the coming years and we will certainly get a price increase in the long run. The rates are currently being increased again in the States.
Prices have been increased to $15.49 for the standard plan and $19.99 for the premium plan. The basic subscription went from $8.99 to $9.99. And that doesn’t go down well. Subscribers are shocked, among other things, by the communication about the increase.

“We hope you enjoy everything Netflix has to offer. We’re updating our prices to bring you even more great entertainment,” reads the email notifying Netflix subscribers of their increased monthly subscription price.
“With this update, we can add even more value to your membership – with stories that lift your spirits, move you or just make your day a little better,” can be read.
Not everyone likes the tone of the email. “This is easily the worst marketing communication of all time,” someone writes on Twitter. The film’s increased price, which has apparently increased more often in the States in recent times, is also not good. Because yes, about 20 peaks for Netflix. Still quite pricey.
