KOMPAS.com – Netflix announced that it is collaborating with Microsoft to present options customer cheap with ads. This collaboration was announced by both parties through their official blogs.
According to Netflix, Microsoft was able to meet their advertising needs to build new subscription options that are cheaper but with ads.
In addition, according to Netflix COO, Greg Peters, Microsoft can also offer customers innovation and strong privacy protections.
“Microsoft has a proven capability to support all of our current needs, (by) jointly building new ad-supported offerings,” said Greg.
Microsoft also welcomes the cooperation and will help Netflix provide more choices to customers.

“You love to offer new value to our ecosystem of marketers and partners, while helping Netflix give their customers more choice,” said Microsoft President Web Experiences, Mikhail Pakhin. KompasTekno from Microsoft’s official blog, Friday (15/7/2022).
However, Microsoft will not interfere in the management of impressions or content on Netflix. However, the ads that will later be shown on Netflix’s “cheap” packages will be available exclusively through the Microsoft platform.
Thus, advertisers who want to show their ads on Netflix, must use the Microsoft platform.
Netflix’s plan to present this low-cost subscription option was previously announced directly by Netflix’s Co-CEO, Ted Sarandos, some time ago.
Although it has officially appointed Microsoft as a new partner, Netflix still has not provided further information on when the exact date of the low-cost subscription package with ads will be present on Netflix.
