From November 3, owners of mobile phones and tablets with the Android operating system can play games on Netflix. There will be five of them available worldwide, two will be localized into Czech. Access to them will appear as a new bookmark to Netflix subscribers directly in the application. If the user has a profile in English, he will get access to all five games, only without subtitles.
Netflix features the following games globally:
- Stranger Things: 1984 (also available in Czech)
- Stranger Things: The Game (also available in Czech)
- Card Blast
- Shooting Hoops
- Teeter Up
Netflix is soon set to expand games to iOS devices as well. All games are accessible to children from 12 years of age, so they will not be part of children’s profiles.

“Members will be able to play on different mobile devices under the same account. And if you run out of devices, we’ll let you know so you can sign out of the ones you’re not using right away, or deactivate them remotely via Netflix.com and keep playing smoothly, ”said Mike Verdu, vice president of game development at Netflix. Some mobile games will require an internet connection, but others will play offline.
