Netflix is constantly rolling out new features, which helps create a better user experience. The company now adds a two thumbs up button to the existing thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. Subscribers can now notify Netflix if they like, dislike, or like the movie or show they just watched. This new Two Thumbs Up button will let Netflix know that you “don’t like” the material but that you like it.
The company will use them to further design Netflix recommendations. The new rating indicator with thumbs and thumbs up buttons will be available today on Netflix for TV, Android and iPhone platforms, and on Netflix.com on the web.

Your Netflix recommendations will be even better
Considering how much the Netflix experience is guided by the history and ratings you’ve watched, Netflix has pushed subscribers to provide additional options to rate content.
According to Netflix, the two thumbs-up option is “a way to change your recommendations for the better.” You can still use a single thumbs up to highlight what you like. However, if you choose the Two Thumbs Up option, Netflix will give that idea more weight.
“Continuing the dialogue with our members is part of our overall strategy and allows us to provide additional feedback and input to improve their recommendations,” said Christine Toyk-Kardett, Director of Innovation for Personalization. Interview Con Indian Express.
You can edit your ratings for movies and TV shows that you’ve already rated. Netflix suggested that the redesigned user interface could make it easier for consumers to do so.
