The fifth season of The Crown will air on November 9th.
The award-winning drama, which follows the lives of the British royal family, will return to the streaming platform later this year.
The new season will feature a new cast, with the series also focusing on a new chapter in real life.
Despite that, Netflix has so far been relatively in awe of the upcoming season.
Season 5 will also be the first since Queen Elizabeth’s death, and series creator Peter Morgan recently paid a heartfelt tribute to Britain’s longest-serving monarch.
He said: “The crown” is a love letter [the Queen] And now I have nothing to add, only silence and respect. I think we will also stop filming out of respect. “
It was later confirmed that production work on the show’s sixth season had been halted out of respect for the late king.
Meanwhile, Netflix has also announced new details for some of its other major shows.
The streaming giant has confirmed that the third season of “Emily in Paris” will premiere on December 21st.
Lily Collins, who plays Emily Cooper on the hit series, recently took to social media to anticipate next season.
Accompanying a screenshot of a new episode, Lily – who stars alongside Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, Ashley Park and Lucien Lavisconte – wrote on Instagram: “First look at @emilyinparis season 3 !! Get ready for new looks, new places. and new love triangles … Thank you France for being a home away from home and kissing us again.
“I’m so proud of this cast and crew and can’t wait to see what our daughter Emily does! Get ready for another road trip … (sic) “
Meanwhile, Netflix has also released the first preview of “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”, the long-awaited prequel to the film Bridgerton.
In humor, India Amarteifio plays a younger version of the title character.
