Netflix announces the premiere of “Limbo”

The Netflix platform announced the launch of the movie “Limbo” by the international artist, Amir Al-Masry.

This came 3 years after it was shown at the Cairo International Film Festival and won 3 awards within the festival’s activities.

Its competition in international festivals is the most prominent of which is the official competition of the Cannes Film Festival.

The film revolves around Omar, a Syrian refugee in Scotland, who is awaiting approval of his asylum application.

Omar lives a quiet life away from his family and tries to regain his old passion, playing the oud.

Amir Al-Masry won the Best Actor award for the film at the BAFTA Awards, Scotland.

The film was also nominated for the Best British Film award at the British BAFTA Awards.

In addition to the film winning many awards in various film festivals, it is directed by Ben Sharrock.
