“Netflix Announces Prequel to ‘Bird Box’ Set in Barcelona”

Five years after the original release of ‘Bird Box’that thriller in which Sandra Bullock survived some alien entities that began to devastate the face of the earth, Netflix has announced a new film belonging to this universe that will take place in Barcelona.

As a prequel, this film will describe how the beginning of the attack by these entities was experienced in spainalmost as if implying in its teaser that this place could have been the epicenter of all the events that occurred in the feature film starring Bullock.

At the moment, there is no precise date on which this film will be released, however, Netflix It does not usually release teasers for projects that are not going to be released before a year, so it is necessary to wait for it for the fall or December of this 2023.

The film will be directed by Alex & David Pastorand will feature performances by Mario Casas, Georgina Campbell, Diego Bald, Alexandra Howard, Naila Schuberth, Patrick Cried, Celia Freijeiro with Lola Dueñas, Gonzalo de Castro, Michelle Jenner & Leonardo Sbaraglia.
