A Mystery Series: Don’t Walk Away
Synopsis
Adapted from the eponymous novel by Harlan Coben, this British mini-series tells the story of Megan, a mother caught up in her past when a police investigation turns her life upside down and that of those she knew.
The opinion of CNET France
You must not approach Don’t go away hoping to find there a detective series full of finesse and depth.
On the contrary, we are more here on a story that multiplies the twists and turns of not knowing what to do with it, with characters making decisions that very often have neither head nor tail. However, not everything is to be thrown away in this program, which still has a nice cast and a plot that is certainly not frivolous but nevertheless gripping.
Fans of police series with repeated twists and turns will not feel neglected by this new English mini-series which, even if it is far from being a masterpiece, has the merit of knowing how to keep the viewer spellbound.
Cush Jumbo and Richard Armitage do their best with the script they’ve been given, and if the show struggles to convince with its absurd plot tendencies, it can at least count on these performers to do a decent job.
We won’t hold back Don’t go away as the series of the year but we will remember its incongruous side which makes it a rather entertaining show, ideal when you want to watch something that does not require the activation of too many neurons.

A nostalgic comedy: The House Party: 20 years later
Synopsis
In this sequel to the hit 1980s sitcom, DJ Tanner-Fuller asks his sister Stephanie and her best friend Kimmy to move into her house to help care for these three boys.
The opinion of CNET France
As Hollywood mourns the sudden passing of Bob Saget, unforgettable as Danny Tanner on the show Home party, we cannot fail to pay homage to him by suggesting that fans of the latter and those who do not know her see him again in the sequel to the cult sitcom.
If Bob Saget only makes a few appearances in The House Party: 20 years later, fans of the 1980s series will be happy to discover the continuation of the adventures of the Tanner-Fuller family and will be moved to see old faces pass by in certain episodes.
True to the spirit of the original series, The House Party: 20 years later is a sitcom as we like them, with its share of delirious situations and hilarious jokes. That we have seen Home party or not, this remake for Netflix knows how to find its audience thanks to endearing characters and a humor that hits the mark.
And if its five seasons aren’t enough for you, the complete original series is available for purchase on SVOD on Apple TV.
