Indeed, all you have to do is plug it in, download the Netatmo Surveillance application on your smartphone and follow the instructions. Moreover, speaking of the CO detector, let us point out that the camera is able to hear alarms and send notifications in case of danger. But let’s get back on topic and talk about the facial recognition system of the camera which is quite impressive. In practice, we receive a notification each time it detects a person, which may seem quite redundant. But don’t panic becauseit is possible to flag familiar faces so as not to be bombarded with alerts and not to fill up its storage space too quickly. Note that it is also possible toignore pet alerts. Not bad !

This is the first time I have received a camera that does not require a subscription to have access to all its functionalities and frankly, I must recognize that this is a strong argument in favor of the Netatmo Smart Indoor Camera. I would therefore recommend it to anyone who has 200 euros to invest in a surveillance camera. Especially since it is also equipped with a system of reconnaissance facial really convincing, panoramic field of vision and an excellent infrared night vision. However, I would have liked to have an image quality superior to 1080p because it is not not always easy to identify intruders far from the camera, but for its price and all the other features it offers, I’m not going to be picky. In short, I would say that you can go there with your eyes closed.
