Israel’s Netanyahu told Putin personally what he thought about Russia’s decision in favor of a UN Security Council resolution calling for a cease-fire in Gaza, AFP reported.

“The prime minister expressed his dissatisfaction with the positions expressed against Israel by Russian representatives at the United Nations and in other forums” when he spoke with Putin on Sunday, Netanyahu’s office said in a statement.

The United States vetoed Friday’s Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in the war in Gaza between Israel and the Palestinian armed group Hamas, BGNES reported.
