Netanyahu: Hezbollah drone hit his summer house –

Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu‘s beach house was damaged in a drone strike claimed by Hezbollah, according to footage obtained by CNN.

Netanyahu and his wife were not at home at the time of the Saturday 10/19 attack in the coastal city of Caesarea, and no one was injured in the attack, according to Israeli officials.

The attack has raised questions about how the drone evaded Israeli air defenses, even as Hezbollah’s leadership has been decimated and Israel’s military is increasing raids across large swaths of Lebanon.

CNN, which works with Kan 11, released an exterior photo of the home showing damage to a cracked window. Kan 11 reported that the broken window was in the bedroom.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack

The Israeli prime minister’s spokesman confirmed the attack that day, but it wasn’t until Tuesday that Israeli authorities admitted that the drone had hit the house.

Hezbollah on Tuesday claimed “full and sole responsibility” for the attack and issued a warning: “If we have not reached you yet, know that between us and you are the days, the nights and the battlefield.”

The Israeli military said on Saturday that “three UAVs were spotted crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Two of the UAVs were intercepted. An additional UAV hit a structure in the area of Caesarea.”

The Israeli prime minister’s spokesman confirmed the attack, but only on Tuesday did Israeli authorities admit that the drone had hit the house. Hezbollah claimed “full and sole responsibility” for the attack. “If we haven’t reached you yet, know that between us and you are the days, the nights, and the battlefield,” he threatened.
