Netanyahu from Gaza: Nothing will stop us

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office announced that he met on Sunday with security forces inside the Gaza Strip.

A statement issued by the office stated that Netanyahu spoke to soldiers and commanders, and received a security briefing.

Netanyahu said, “Nothing will stop us, and we are convinced that we have the strength, ability, will, and determination to achieve all the goals of the war, and this is what we will do.”

“We are doing our best to return our hostages, and in the end we will return them all,” he added in a video broadcast by his office.

He explained that Israel has three goals in this war: eliminating Hamas, returning all hostages, and ensuring that Gaza does not become a threat to Israel again.

According to what the “Times of Israel” reported from the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu inspected one of the Hamas tunnels that were discovered by Israeli forces.

Netanyahu’s statements came as the truce with Hamas reached its third day on Sunday, but military officials fear that a longer truce will weaken Israeli efforts to eliminate the movement, which is classified as terrorist.

In total, on Friday and Saturday, Hamas handed over 26 Israeli hostages to the International Committee of the Red Cross, some of whom hold another nationality, while Israel released 78 Palestinian prisoners. All those released are women and children.

Over the past two days, Hamas also released 15 non-Israeli foreigners, in a measure that was not included in the agreement.

The agreement, which was brokered by Qatar and with the participation of the United States and Egypt, stipulates the release of fifty Hamas hostages, in exchange for the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners over the four days of the truce, which can be extended.
