Jakarta –
Prime Minister (PM) Israel Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday criticized French President Emmanuel Macron for stopping the supply of arms to Israel. Israel is currently at war in Gaza and Lebanon.
“As Israel struggles with the forces of barbarism led by Iran, all civilized nations should stand firmly on Israel’s side. However, President Macron and other Western leaders are now call for an arms embargo on Israel. Shame on them,” Netanyahu said in a statement issued by his office.
Netanyahu said that Israel is fighting against several groups with the support of its archetype, Iran.

“Has Iran imposed an arms embargo on Hezbollah, the Houthis, Hamas and its proxies? Absolutely not,” he said. The three groups are supported by Tehran and are part of its “axis of resistance” against Israel.
“This terrorist axis is united. However, the countries that should oppose this terrorist axis want an arms embargo on Israel. What a shame!”
Netanyahu said Israel would win even without their support.
“However, the shame will last long after the war is won,” he said.
“Rest assured, Israel will fight until the battle is won – for our sake and for peace and security in the world. “
