The police suspected that something was wrong on rue Henri Rolland in Villeurbanne.
A monitoring device was installed to verify that drug trafficking was taking place on the spot, in the Tonkin district. Early Monday afternoon, a transaction led to the arrest of five individuals.
The first, a 40-year-old man, admitted in police custody to being a consumer and supplying himself with narcotics since last January. He also had on him 3 grams of cannabis resin.
The second, aged 22, also said he was a consumer converted into a small-time dealer. His recent traffic would have brought him 100 euros in a month.
The third, who hid the sum of 1140 euros at his searched home, told the investigators to be a lookout to repay a debt.
Same story for the fourth, who had a debt of 24,000 euros. In addition to the role of lookout, he conditioned the drug against 300 euros per month. At his home were found 725 grams of grass, 222 grams of cannabis resin, 240 euros and packaging material.
The last arrested was a simple occasional buyer. He was also quickly released.
Ditto for the other consumer, who was still subject to a legal reminder. As for the three other protagonists of the Villeurbannais deal point, they were presented to the Lyon prosecutor’s office this Wednesday to be tried in the afternoon.
