The singer recalls with a shudder what happened to him at the jazz festival in Montreux. He became the first headliner from Russia in the history of the event, and therefore he was very worried. And, as it turned out, not in vain.
The performance of a celebrity was supposed to last an hour, and they had to perform a rather complicated program – for a narrow circle of people who understand a lot about music. Agutin was sure that such connoisseurs would highly appreciate his skill, but the audience literally howled from the performance of the artist.
There were many people from Russia among the listeners. They approached the stage and turned to Agutin with an unexpected and shocking request for him.
“Lenya, let’s Ole-Ole?” — recalled the singer in an interview with the publication HELLO!.
The musician fulfilled the wish of his compatriots, noting that then “the real show began.”
