Nepp rages about the obligation to wear masks on public transport in Vienna

The Viennese FPÖ boss Dominik Nepp is annoyed about the extended mask requirement in Vienna’s public transport.

Wien. “As we feared, City Councilor for Health Hacker and Mayor Ludwig are actually so mad that even a risk of infection that has fallen into insignificance and temperatures rising to over 30 degrees do not change anything about the mask requirement in Vienna’s public transport,” writes Vienna FPÖ leader Dominik Nepp in a broadcast.

From around 27 degrees outside temperature, the Viennese public transport is “torment even without a mask, because they are often not air-conditioned,” Nepp continued. “With a mask, the daily drive to work and back becomes an involuntary sauna session in work clothes. The mask serves at best as a sweat towel. The extension of the mask requirement can only come from people who have no idea about the reality of life in Vienna.”

Ludwig and Hacker should give up their cars and chauffeurs in the summer months and use the Wiener Linien, according to the Viennese FPÖ boss. Nepp: “As far as I’m concerned, you can put on three masks at the same time, because that saves you going to the sauna. But you should finally leave the Viennese alone with their mask fetish.”
