Nemanja Celic has no future at SV Darmstadt 98.
As the “Kicker” reports, the 24-year-old from Upper Austria should leave the German first division this summer.
The ÖFB legionnaire was given the go-ahead to look for a new club. Actually, the defensive midfielder at Böllenfalltor still has a contract until 2024.
Celic loaned out to LASK last season
In the summer of 2021, Celic switched from WSG Tirol to the then second division team from Darmstadt for 400,000 euros. In his debut season, he made 15 appearances for the Lilies.
The following summer, however, he went back to Austria. LASK struck and loaned the Upper Austrian for a season. However, Celic did not play a major role in Linz, only making eleven appearances.
In Darmstadt, the former ÖFB U21 team player recently took part in the preparations for the upcoming Bundesliga season. Now the defensive midfielder has to move on again.
