24-year-old striker Nelson Chiquet has signed for EHC Winterthur for next season.
After training at HC Ajoie and de HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, Chiquet played in the youth team at Fribourg-Gotteron, where he also completed his first two professional years in the Nationalliga A. The Jurassic then played for the GCK Lions for three seasons before playing for the Ticino Rockets last season.
Sport director Mario Antonelli: “Nelson is definitely a reinforcement for our offensive. He has a few years of SL and NL experience, is fast and can score a few goals. In addition, he brings that aggressiveness that we have been missing up front.”
