Nelly Karim «a rare coin» – Al-Ittihad newspaper

Mohamed Kenawy (Cairo)

Nelly Karim is experiencing the Saidian drama for the first time through the series “Nadra Currency”, in which he will participate in the upcoming Ramadan rush, and started shooting his scenes a few days ago after the author , Dr. Medhat El-Adl wrote the script and director Mando El-Adl chose the shooting locations.
Nelly said that experiencing Upper Egyptian drama for the first time requires me to make some personal and work preparations, such as training in the dialect at the hands of a specialist and mastering it, so that I can present a work compelling that respects the viewer’s mind.
She added that the events revolve around women being deprived of inheritance, especially lands and replacing them with money, and among the events is the older character of a woman whose husband dies and she refuses to surrender to deprivation of her inheritance, and engages in a fierce struggle with her mother-in-law to obtain her rights.
Nelly indicated that the series witnesses his return to the collaboration with the writer and screenwriter Medhat Al-Adl, after an absence of 4 years, and the renewed collaboration with the director Mando Al-Adl after the series “Faten Amal Harbi”, and witnesses her second meeting with her husband Hisham Ashour after “Rose and Laila”. She added that she has finished filming her role in the film “To Al-Zero” with Muhammad Ramadan, and embodies the character of a patient wife who stands by her husband and son in difficult circumstances, and the events take place in a teaser about a young man who works in a private company.
Nelly had achieved great success through the series “Faten Amal Harbi”, which aired last Ramadan, and dealt with the struggle of a woman who decides to separate from her husband and take responsibility for raising her two daughters.
