Neighbor’s Actor Suspected of Slashing Viral Head of Pilkades Committee in Bangkalan

Ridoi (37), Chairman of the Pilkades Committee (P2KD) Mangga’an, Modung District, Bangkalan injured his neck after being stabbed by a neighbor. Video of this event viral on social media (medsos).

The stabbing perpetrator named Samsul (50) has been arrested and detained. The perpetrator is a neighbor of the victim.

“We managed to catch the perpetrator in Alas Kokon Village, Modung District,” said the Head of the Bangkalan Police, AKBP Wiwit Ari Wibisono, as reported by Antara. detikJatimSaturday (18/3/2023).

The perpetrator hurt the victim because his registration file as village head did not pass verification. Samsul did not pass the verification because when he applied for the village head, his status was still a member of the Village Consultative Body (BPD).

“The status of the BPD has not been dismissed by the regent, so when the list of reading heads does not pass verification,” he added.

The stabbing started when the perpetrator was taking his child to join a carnival in the local village. Seeing the victim in front of his eyes, he also remembered that the file did not pass verification.
