Suspect arrested in the middle of the afternoon

“A flagrant investigation of the counts of attempted murder and attempted aggravated murder” was entrusted to the Jura gendarmerie group and the Besançon research section and searches were launched to find this man, continued the magistrate.

Research involving 70 gendarmes, including a helicopter and a canine team, were “immediately launched” and the Epervier plan triggered, which made it possible to arrest “in the middle of the afternoon” the suspect, unknown to justice , according to Lionel Pascal. He was placed in police custody, added the magistrate, who could not immediately specify what exact link he had with the couple.
