The police revealed that there was the body of a mutilated woman in number 6 for rent M Ecky Listiantho (34). Ecky’s rental is at the end of the 6 houses that are rented out.
“There are only a few occupants. Of the 6 gates, 3 are full,” local RT chief Alfian said when he met at the scene on Friday (6/1/2023).
He said that not much has changed from the rented house located in Kampung Buaran, Lambangsari village, South Tambun district, Bekasi regency, West Java.
However, according to Alfian, the occupants of the rental house live right next door to Ecky’s rental house, who has moved into an empty rental house. Ecky’s neighbor “moved” the rental house after discovering Ecky was holding a dead body.
He moved to another rented room, so it wasn’t right next to Ecky’s rented location.
“The occupants next to the location are empty, moved to a room a bit at the back,” he explained.
Alfian doesn’t know for sure why Ecky’s neighbor changed apartments. The rental situation itself is often quiet during the day.
Alfian rarely meets Ecky around the place. He said Ecky was a private person, including his neighbors.
“Before being arrested, I had only met him several times. Because we also warned him, he rarely answered, he was always closed,” he said.
“Yes, it’s really quiet, it’s the night, at work,” he added.
Ecky charged with premeditated murder
It was previously reported that the Metropolitan Police had named Ecky as a mutilation suspect Angela Hindriati (54) in Tambun, Bekasi Regency, he was charged with multiple articles of premeditated murder. Ecky faces the death penalty.
“(Presumably article) 340, 338, 339 of the Criminal Code,” the head of Resmob Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Resa Fiardy Marasabessy said when contacted.
Resa added that suspect Ecky faces up to 20 years in prison for his actions.
“20 years in prison,” he said.
Discovery of mutilated bodies
Police found the body of a mutilated woman in a rented house in Bekasi Regency, West Java. The discovery of the body was revealed when police were looking for M Ecky L (34) who was reported missing.
Police received information that Ecky was there. The police arrived at the scene on Thursday (29/12) evening.
However, police found a container box which turned out to contain the mutilated body of a woman. The same day the police also arrested Ecky.
