On Sunday, if all goes well, every one and a half meter people will be standing with a candle in their hand on the Wiener Ring at 7:00 p.m. This “sea of lights” is intended to commemorate the 13,000 people who have died from Covid, honor the nursing staff – and implicitly offer a counter to the previous mass demonstrations by corona deniers and vaccination opponents. The motto is #YesWeCare.
