On Thursday, August 8, between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., a blood drive will take place in the Aimé-Padié hall in Nègrepelisse.
During this summer period, the French Blood Establishment and the team of volunteers from the Amicale pour le don du sang de Nègrepelisse hope that donors, local or passing through, will come in large numbers because blood reserves are low in Occitanie, while sick people, hospitalized or injured continue to need blood. No vacation for them! Who does not know a cancer patient, a hemophiliac or even a pregnant woman, an anemic person, often treated thanks to the blood of generous donors. Even if medicine innovates and seeks to save as many lives as possible, too many treatments depend on blood products that cannot be replaced by a substitute. Without blood donors, nothing is possible!
Don’t hesitate! Alone, with family or friends, get started! With or without an appointment, this collection will be the ideal opportunity to do a good deed. By giving your blood, you will save three lives at once.
