Restart of negotiations for a joint government between GERB-SDS and “Continuing the Change”. After the tension over the leaked tapes, negotiators and leaders sat down at the same table again.
Officially, the negotiations have been renewed and the first meeting is already a fact. In an attempt to melt the ice, all the leaders from both formations joined it. They gathered in the chamber of the Speaker of the Parliament, together with the main negotiators Nikolay Denkov and Maria Gabriel.

The leaders of the first two political powers have been in and out repeatedly in an attempt to thaw the ice between them.
“Talks are ongoing. When we have something to tell you – we will tell you,” said Gabriel succinctly.
“There are two elements – one is to ensure that there will be no problems with the administration. We are preparing the relevant document to give peace of mind to all those who are worried. The second is the personnel composition, so we are working on both”, specified Denkov.
“We continue the change” stated that they are ready to make compromises for the ministerial composition, but not at any price. And they did not answer whether they are ready to withdraw the political persons, among whom is Asen Vasilev.
“There will be no GERB ministers as GERB ministers. What we have is a lineup that we started from. We are looking to see if there can be better experts”, explained Denkov.

Earlier, GERB leader Boyko Borisov was adamant that there should be a government. “When there is a shared responsibility, such a composition must be proposed that will calm and build trust in both political formations”, he was categorical.
The DPS criticized: “Having a government is mandatory. By whom? We found out from Rambovtsi, a few people, again through the media, that they decided to kill themselves with the opposition,” said Mustafa Karadai.
The BSP will think if they are invited for talks. “The mandate is in Denkov. They are talking about an ice age, a warming of relations… Yesterday it was one thing, today it’s another,” Georgi Svilenski pointed out.

The topic also heated up the plenary hall, and the meeting had to be interrupted at the beginning because of a scandal between “Vazrazhdane” and “Continuing the Change”.
“The mandate should be returned immediately, because this formation does not have the moral right to represent anyone, except the embassy and the embassies with which it coordinates its personnel decisions and appointments”, stressed Kostadin Kostadinov.
“Stop any attempts at this type of fascist propaganda that are being made by Vazrazhdane,” replied Miroslav Ivanov from the PP-DB.
