Artem Dziuba’s agent confirmed that negotiations with Lokomotiv about a new contract have begun.
Formerly insider Ivan Karpov informedthat the Moscow club offers Dziuba an agreement under the “1 + 1” scheme, but the striker would like to conclude a contract for a period of 2 years. It was also alleged that Loko wants to lower Artyom’s salary.
“I really had the first meeting with the management of Lokomotiv about Artem’s new contract. I can confirm that our party announced the desired term for the new agreement. But at the same time, no specific amounts were discussed at this meeting. We are waiting for the first concrete proposal from the club.
Regarding the fact that Lokomotiv offered to reduce wages. Firstly, I have not heard this from my colleagues from Loko, this information is completely untrue. Secondly, it would look as disrespectful and ridiculous as possible, given the status of Artem and the number of those effective actions that he has already performed during the period spent at the club. Therefore, if such a proposal arose, it would certainly be very difficult for us to agree.
