Providence saved a number of people passing through the slides of the village of Mit Al-Faramawi, within the area of the Mit Ghamr Center, Dakahlia Governorate, after the worker neglected to close the slides during the passage of the train passing through the (Tanta-Zagazig) line, and the cars and passers-by stopped at the moment the train passed, and the worker closed it after passing.
A number of residents of the village of Mit Faramawy, which is affiliated with the Mit Ghamr Center, circulated a video clip that was filmed showing the passing of the train and the worker’s omission of closing the two slides, which operate electronically.
And the video clip monitored the passage of the train and the worker closing after the slippery train passed, amidst the shouts of passers-by who were surprised by the passage of the train.
The accident would have caused a catastrophe had it not been for God’s providence and the vigilance of passers-by who stopped the moment the train passed, which could have left victims.
In the same context, “Cairo 24” contacted Lieutenant General Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, to comment on what happened, stressing that what happened will be opened by the Railways Authority and determine the time and time in which the train crossed and the direction, whether it was coming from Zagazig or in the other direction.
The minister indicated that he did not know about the incident except through the “Cairo 24” reporter, as soon as it was sent via “WhatsApp”, and the negligent person will be held accountable for what happened, indicating that the slider worker was negligent, and the matter will be investigated and followed up.
