Negative travel advice for the whole of Belgium due to an increasing number of positive tests | NOW

The Netherlands has issued a negative travel advice for all of Belgium, because more and more residents of the country are testing positive for the corona virus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports Tuesday.

Dutch people who still travel to Belgium are urgently advised to go into home quarantine for ten days upon their return. For the time being it is recommended to only make necessary trips to Belgium.

At the end of September, the ministry already announced the orange color code for Belgium. Before that, that advice only applied to the Belgian cities of Brussels and Antwerp.

Entry restrictions already applied to Dutch nationals traveling to Belgium. The Belgian government has designated all Dutch provinces with the exception of Zeeland as red areas.
