Neftohimik won the Burgas volleyball derby

The champion Neftohimik defeated 3:1 (26:24, 23:25, 25:21, 25:19) Deya Volei in the Burgas derby for the “Stara Zagora” cup.

The top scorer of the match with 19 points was the diagonal Venelin Kadankov, the receiver Stefan Ivanov added 14, and the center Denis Chavdarov – 13.

VK Neftohimik 2010 is in Stara Zagora with 11 volleyball players, being deprived of diagonal Murad Khan, libero Simeon Dobrev and center Alexander Kordev.

Khan and Dobrev are committed to the national teams of Pakistan and Bulgaria respectively for the Asian Games, where Murad is making a splash, and the upcoming Olympic qualifiers. Kordev was injured before the tournament in the Stara Zagorje “Ivan Vazov” hall.

On the first day of the tournament, Neftohimik lost 0:3 to Heber, and Deja Volley prevailed 3:2 over host Beroe.
