Need for tax net Pakistan, will not back down: Finance Minister

The finance minister further said that in April we had started a campaign for tax registration, people think that they will come into the tax net, then they will be harassed for no reason. They will provide various facilities but will not back down from the campaign to bring the tax into the net.
He said that if the structure is not changed during the 24th program of the IMF, then it will have to go to the 25th program, the IMF team has come to Pakistan, this program will be very important and long.
The finance minister said that the track and trace system has completely failed, it has not been implemented, but now we are moving towards complete digitalization, revenues will increase and transparency will also come.
He said that currently the current account deficit is less than one billion dollars and inflation is decreasing while the stock exchange is at an all-time high. For the first time, foreign buying has taken place.
Mohammad Aurangzeb further said that we have to start from somewhere, if we do not start, how will we finish, not only international but also national capitalists will be taken on board while private sector people have also been taken on board.
