The expectation for the next Need for Speed games is no longer the same as it was a few years ago due to the failures we have seen in the latest installments. According to Level Up, a medium specialized in video games, sources close to the developer indicated that the creation of said title is very advanced and that it could reach consoles and PCs in 2022.
Data that was confirmed by Jeff Grubbone of the most popular journalists and insiders in the community, who pointed out that the new Need for Speed would be released this year, but that it would only be exclusive to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PCs.
The journalist also mentioned that the video game would have as its main stage a city inspired by Miami, a map that we have already seen in previous installments, such as Need for Speed: Underground.
Apparently, the release date of Critereon Games’ street car racing game would see the light of day in November and there would be no version for PlayStation 4 consoles and Xbox Onewhich could be good news for many, but sad for others.
