Ned Luke, the voice behind Michael in Grand Theft Auto 5, recently addressed discussions regarding Grand Theft Auto 6’s female protagonist, refuting the idea that including a female protagonist in the game amounts to being “woke.” Luke, in conversation with IGN, brought by Wccftechin his GTFM video series, refuted such claims, classifying those who suggest otherwise as “clowns”.
Luke stressed that the introduction of a female protagonist in GTA 6 is not new to the series, which eliminates the idea that this is an unprecedented change for Grand Theft Auto. He also pointed out that Lucia looked impressive in the GTA 6 presentation trailer.
Luke’s remarks aim to clear up the misconception that the inclusion of a female protagonist could indicate a change in the game’s direction, stating that this creative choice is in line with the established narrative setting.
Currently in development for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release in 2025, being eagerly awaited by all admirers of the series.
